Can it do 100+fps on 1440p with maxed out settings?

I'm running a 3080 laptop on 1440p with BF4 maxed out getting 100+ fps. The 3070 desktop should be about 18% faster, so I'd say you're good.

The 2080-Ti you wanted is only about 4% faster than the 3070.

it depends on a lot of factors but I use a 3440x1440 screen and I very often exceed 100fps with maxed out settings

ahhh.. well if you are curious about the refresh rate, put DXDIAG into the windows search and hit enter, then click on the Display 1 tab, and the current display mode will say resolution and Hz.

actual fps isn't really important to me as long as it feels smooth ya know.

If you are running Windows 10, then go into Settings, then Display. Resulution will be there. And click on Adavnced display settings on the bottom for the monitor refresh rate.

I got a 3070 in early 2021. Great card. Last summer (2022) I upgraded to a 3080 Ti 12gb when prices went down some back in July. No regrets.

it arrived early, but was in a 3070 TI box, so that got my hopes up that there was a mistake. but no, it was what i ordered.

it's been running BF4 on ultra on 1440p very well, even with my AMD Ryzen 7 from 2018 so i'm happy

If you don't know your monitor's display rate, it could just be an old 60Hz model. You can google your monitor brand and model number to get its specs if you don't know those. With anything above 60Hz, always double check your system settings to make sure you have that refresh rate selected. Otherwise, you're artificially maxing out at a lower number your graphics card may be able to easily push past.
